What They Told Him in Hell

Once in a while, I come across a testimony of God’s saving grace that strikes a cord…reminds me of somebody, something, or some time. This is one of those testimonies. May God bless all who view this with His hope, peace, and love.

    Hi, Cindy,
This one just struck a note with me. God is so merciful and understanding, isn’t He?

The cruelty of the man’s father was particularly poignant. One hears sad, sad stories like this too often that traumatize children and turn their hearts dark. The part of the country from which I hail has many “family cultures” where this kind of “parenting” (which I call “catastrophic parenting,” i.e., a roof and food and clothing was provided but little else to nurture a child appropriately) was common back in the days this man talks of.

But God’s love is far greater.

  2. Thank you for sharing. Gave me chills… I have heard and read very similar stories. Powerful stuff. I thank God that He made a way for us through the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
